1923 Buick Touring Sedan

Purchased from a bachelor’s estate sale in 1997.  Car was un- restored in his barn, but engine was not running. We brought it home, fixed it up and got it running and have been driving it ever since. Car is still un- restored in original condition.

Exterior
Original, un-restored body with minimal rust. Original black paint, has its fair share of scratches and dings, but is in unbelievably good shape for its age. Original 20” wood- spoke wheels with Coker tires installed around the time of purchase. Less than 500 miles on tires.

Brakes
Original mechanical brakes. Work surprisingly well.

Suspension
Original suspension, rides as well as a 90 year old car can and sits level.

Driveline
Original running 242 inline 6. Engine starts up and runs very well, does not have any major leaks. Transmission is original reverse “H” 3 speed.

Interior
All original, rough shape, leather interior. Seats have seat covers installed, everything is there. Top is in pretty tough shape, but all supports and canvas is there, as well as the sides. All gauges work, glass is in decent shape.

Car is a very fun, unique driver that could be restored. But for as complete and as good of shape as the car is in we thought it would be a shame to rob this car of the 90 years worth of patina that it has earned.
