"Zombie Killer"

Exterior
This killer paint job was 68 years in the making. We were going to blast it and do a full paint job but when we began sanding we found 7 different colors and well over 10 paint jobs the truck has had over the years and couldn’t bring ourselves to take this truck's character away. We feathered the paint back to the lowest layer we could in the spots it was flaking and then smoothed it off and used clear adhesion promoter on bare metal spots then cleared the entire thing with 4 coats of Cromax Clear. The inside was treated to a tan/brown color to match the original color. All major rust issues which there were very few were fixed and the underside of the cab was undercoated and the inside was bead lined. Truck was very straight and clean. Has new red oak bed with stainless bed strips. Sits on C5 Corvette Wheels 18" rear and 17" fronts

Brakes
Has new disc brakes on all 4 corners of the truck with new under floor dual master and booster. Truck has all new teflon brake lines installed front and rear. Stops very well.

Suspension
Truck sits on a new Speedway Motors frame, Mustang 2 style front end with QA1 coil overs, has power rack and pinion, rear is a new 9” Ford housing with 3.25 gears and a Locke, new Currie axles, setup with disc brakes QA1 coil overs on the rear. Frame is 100% new from front to rear, all suspension components are all new.

Driveline
Schwanke Engines Stage I 5.3L Engine, 385 HP with a LS9 cam advanced 8 Degrees, Stage I 4L60E Transmission with 2200 Stall Converter, Has Lokar 32” Tall Stick Shifter and New Chrome Tilt Steering column with Impala Style leather wrapped wheel.

Interior
Interior has fresh paint and all new seals and all new tinted glass, has Dolphin Gauges and Custom Auto sound radio, Has new door panels, new door handles and window cranks, headliner, carpet, seat has been re-upholstered, spoon gas pedal.

This Sweet custom truck has a one-of-a-kind paint job that cannot be replicated, ever! It rides excellent and has more power than it needs and sounds killer.
